  • Establish operational processes that are in compliance with applicable environmental, health & safety regulations and adopt company standards to protect human health and the environment where regulatory requirements do not provide adequate controls.
  • Conduct operations in a manner to ensure compliance with all EH&S related policies and procedures.
  • Ensure the allocation of appropriate resources to support continuous reduction in health & safety risks, waste generation, energy consumption, and emissions to land, air and water.
  • Empower all employees, contractors, and visitors to proactively engage in promoting safe work practices and address unsafe behaviors and conditions before they result in an injury or environmental incident.
  • Implement training plans to provide employees with the knowledge, skills, and technical support that enable them to be accountable for performing work in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.
  • Design, manage and operate Carlex facilities to maximize safety, energy efficiency and environmental protection and create products that are safe in their intended use, conserve energy and materials, and prevent pollution throughout the product life cycle including manufacture, use, and end-of-life management.
  • Support a rigorous corporate auditing program that measures and monitors regulatory compliance, progress toward environmental, health & safety related goals, targets and strategic plans and assures effective implementation of the EH&S management system.
  • Advocate the adoption of prudent environmental, health and safety principles and practices of our contractors, vendors and suppliers.
  • Forge positive relationships with regulatory agencies, stakeholders, and the communities in which we operate that is based on honesty, trust, and transparency to uphold our integrity as a corporate entity with core values that support effective, successful and sustainable environmental, health and safety management programs.
