Carlex Glass America Announces the Appointment of a new CEO

Nashville, TN: Carlex Glass America, LLC is pleased to announce that Ikumasa “Kino” Kinoshita has been appointed as Carlex’ new CEO, effective immediately.
The former Carlex CEO, Tetsuo “Tim” Kanai, has relocated to Tokyo where he will transition to the position of the General Manager in the Corporate Administration Department within Central Glass Co. Ltd., the parent company of Carlex.
Kino began his career at Central Glass Co. Ltd., in April 1991. During his more than 30 years of experience working with the company, he has been involved in a wide range of operations, including hiring, manufacturing costing, business planning, administration, and the management of overseas subsidiaries. Most recently, Kino served as Carlex’ Senior Vice President of Finance, as well as reporting to Central Glass America, Inc. as a Director and Executive Vice President.
Carlex is excited about Kino’s extensive background in the glass business and is clearly the top choice to further develop the organization. With his leadership, Carlex will continue to be focused on developing and delivering innovative products and solutions, providing outstanding customer service, and driving growth.
