Joining the Carlex Team

We recognize great talent and go after it. We know it’s the only way to create the best products in our industry. The majority of our facilities hire employees directly – not through agencies – so we can personally interview and assess the right people for our culture. Then we provide thorough orientation and training to give them every opportunity to succeed.

At Carlex we are passionate about being the Employer of Choice in every one of our locations so we’ve made it easy to view and apply to our exciting career opportunities.

  1. Our Careers Site allows you to view all current opportunities at Carlex nationwide. You can also search for a specific opportunity by key word, or refine your search to a specific location and category.
  2. Once you have viewed the opportunities on our Careers Site, simply click on the opportunity that you feel most qualified for, review the job posting details and click on the “Apply Now” button.
  3. After you have completed your profile and application, click the “Submit” button, and that’s all there is to it.
  4. Once you have applied to a position, we will send you a notification that we received your application and resume. Our Recruitment team will review all applicants and identify those candidates that best match the requirements of the position and department.

The resume review period will vary from position to position due to business requirements. If your skills, background and qualifications meet our business need, you will be contacted. However, if you are not contacted in reference to your application submission, we strongly encourage you to apply to other Carlex opportunities that best suit your skills and experience. In addition, your profile will become part of the Recruiter’s searchable database for all Carlex opportunities.

If this is your first time applying for a position with Carlex, you will be asked to create an account and register. Be sure to use a unique username and password. Once you have successfully created your profile, you will be taken to the Application page where you can add your contact information, relevant work experience, education and any additional skills you possess that would benefit the company.

You will also have an opportunity to add any additional documents to your application. This is where you can upload your resume, cover letter, recommendation letters, etc. Acceptable formats are DOC, DOCX, PDF, JPG or PNG. Maximum file size is 6MB.

We encourage you to review and follow these steps in preparing for your interview.

  • Be on time! That means arriving at least 10 minutes before your interview.
  • Be prepared to “WOW” us – Why are YOU the best candidate for the job?
  • Dress appropriately! First impressions are important; competition for some of our positions can be very high.
  • Ask questions! We want you to fully understand the role, our fantastic company culture, and our expectations for success.
